문화유산기술연구소(TRIC)는 대한민국역사박물관 외벽 K컬처스크린에서 대한민국 현대 산업사를 조망하는 3D 빌보드 콘텐츠를 공개했습니다.
특히 눈길을 끄는 것은 현대자동차 포니입니다. 1975년부터 1982년까지 생산된 포니 1세대는 현대자동차의 중요한 헤리티지이자 대한민국 산업과 눈부신 경제발전을 대표하는 아이콘입니다.
이번 프로젝트는 역동적인 대한민국 현대사와 산업 유산의 가치를 재조명하며, 레트로한 감성과 디자인으로부터 새로운 영감을 얻는 즐거운 시간이었습니다.

TRIC has unveiled 3D billboard content on the K-Culture Screen at the exterior wall of the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History, showcasing Korea‘s modern industrial history.
The Hyundai Pony stands out, in particular. Produced from 1975 to 1982, the Pony 1st generation is a crucial part of Hyundai Motor Company’s heritage and an icon representing Korea‘s industry and remarkable economic development.
This project was a delightful experience, re-examining dynamic Korean modern history and the value of industrial heritage, while drawing new inspiration from retro aesthetics and design.

문화유산기술연구소(TRIC)는 2013년 뉴욕 메트로폴리탄 미술관에서 디지털 석굴암을 선보인 이래, 10여 년간 석굴암 디지털 복원 데이터 에셋을 기반으로 가상현실(VR) 콘텐츠를 지속적으로 혁신하며 선보여왔습니다.
TRIC이 구축한 디지털 복원 데이터 애셋은 경주타워, 아르떼뮤지엄강릉 등 다양한 장소에서 콘텐츠로 활용되며 그 가치를 입증해왔습니다.

그리고 이제, 한층 정교하게 진화한 디지털 복원 기술을 바탕으로 ‘석굴암 하이퍼리얼’을 선보입니다.
화강암으로 빚어낸 인류 최고 수준의 걸작, 석굴암. 그 찬란한 아름다움을 런던과 경주에서 만나보세요.

Since presenting the Digital Seokguram at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York in 2013, TRIC has spent over a decade continuously innovating virtual reality (VR) content based on its meticulously restored digital data assets of Seokguram.
These digital restoration assets have demonstrated their value through diverse applications, including immersive exhibitions at locations such as Gyeongju Tower and Arte Museum Gangneung.

Now, TRIC unveils a new milestone—Seokguram Hyperreal, built upon even more refined and precise restoration technology.
Experience the sublime beauty of Seokguram, a granite masterpiece of human civilization, now revealed in London and Gyeongju.
